Writer/Director

Passionate about science, the remote Writer/Director will take video projects from initial concept through to production by conducting in-depth research, writing scripts, and directing edits to create engaging content focused on Physics, Maths, and Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality videos in a timely manner while leading the production team
• Research scientific topics and propose compelling video ideas
• Collaborate with animators and video editors, incorporating feedback from editorial leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physics, Maths, Engineering, or a related field
• Excellent research and fact-checking skills
• Strong project management abilities to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Passion for and knowledge of science YouTube content
• Experience in long-form or feature science communication is desirable
