About the role
AVA Security Agency Corp. is seeking dedicated and professional Security Guards to join our dynamic team in Santa Cruz, Manila City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the security services industry. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for protecting people, assets, and premises whilst maintaining a safe and secure environment. You will be the frontline of our security operations, demonstrating vigilance, professionalism, and integrity in all aspects of your work.
What you'll be doing
Monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to prevent unauthorised access and detect suspicious activities
Conducting regular inspections of premises, equipment, and security systems to ensure everything is functioning properly
Checking identification documents and verifying visitor credentials before granting access to secured areas
Responding promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations with appropriate action
Maintaining detailed logs and incident reports documenting all security-related events and observations
Communicating effectively with colleagues, management, and emergency services when necessary
Enforcing security policies and procedures to ensure compliance and maintain order
Conducting crowd control and managing access during events or high-traffic periods
Performing security checks of vehicles, packages, and personal belongings as required
Remaining alert and attentive throughout assigned shifts, including night and weekend work
What we're looking for
Valid security guard licence or certification as required by local regulations
High school diploma or equivalent qualification
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a security or related role, or demonstrated aptitude for security work
Excellent observational and situational awareness skills with the ability to identify potential threats
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact professionally with diverse individuals
Physical fitness and capability to stand, walk, and respond to emergencies for extended periods
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure during challenging situations
Reliability and punctuality with a strong commitment to attendance and schedule adherence
Trustworthiness and integrity, with the ability to pass background checks and security clearances
Knowledge of emergency procedures and basic first aid training (preferred)
Familiarity with security equipment and monitoring systems (preferred)
