About LeadrPro

LeadrPro is a B2B marketplace where tech leaders get paid to evaluate software. 50,000+ members, 500+ vendors, $850K+ paid out to buyers. Companies list demo opportunities, buyers apply, take a 30-minute call, and get paid $75–$200 for honest feedback. We're a small team shipping fast — which means things break, and we need someone whose entire job is finding out where.

What You'll Actually Do

This is not a "sit in on meetings and take notes" internship. You will own quality for a live product with real users and real money moving through it.

  • Manually test new features before they ship — buyer signup, demo applications, seller dashboards, payout flows
  • Write and maintain test cases for our core user journeys so nothing critical ships untested
  • File clear, reproducible bug reports (steps, expected vs. actual, screenshots, browser/device)
  • Regression-test releases and verify fixes actually fixed the thing
  • Cross-browser and mobile testing (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, iOS, Android)
  • Test email flows, forms, and landing pages for broken links, bad copy, and dead CTAs
  • Help build out a lightweight automated test suite for critical paths (Playwright or Cypress) — no prior experience required, we'll teach you
  • Flag UX problems, not just bugs. If a flow is confusing, that's a defect too.

What We're Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a CS, IT, or related program — or self-taught and can prove it
  • Obsessive attention to detail. You're the person who notices the misaligned button.
  • Clear written communication. A vague bug report is worse than no bug report.
  • Basic familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, how a browser dev console works)
  • Comfortable with ambiguity — early-stage startup, priorities shift weekly
  • Bonus: any exposure to Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Postman, SQL, or JavaScript
  • Bonus: you've ever filed a bug report on a product you use for fun

Why This Role Is Worth Your Time

  • You'll touch every part of a real production product, not a sandbox
  • Direct access to the founders — no layers between you and the people making decisions
  • Real ownership: your name goes on the QA process you help build
  • Strong performers get considered for a full-time role or a standing contract

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
