Private tutor in Dubai

A private tutor job in Dubai means teaching one learner, or a small group of up to six, in a live lesson of 60, 90 or 120 minutes. Educrest collects the enquiry from the learner or whoever registers them and matches it to a tutor. If you live in the UAE, at-home lessons in Dubai run on your MoHRE Private Teacher Work Permit, and that same permit covers the lessons you teach online. If you live outside the UAE, you teach online, on Gulf Standard Time.

Teaching at home in Dubai

• A valid UAE residence visa if you are not a UAE national, together with your Emirates ID.
• The Private Teacher Work Permit, current and in your own name, applied for through the MoHRE app, website or digital channels.
• The paperwork on MoHRE's licensing page as of March 2026: certificates of good conduct and medical fitness, your identity documents, an approved Private Tuition Agreement, and a colour photograph with a white background. Employees and school teachers add a no-objection letter from their employer.

Teaching online

• Command of your subject at the levels you teach it, anywhere from early years to adults.
• A quiet room, a steady internet connection, and teaching hours that work in Gulf Standard Time.
