Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Night Custodian to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility. The Night Custodian will ensure that our facility remains a welcoming and sanitary space for visitors and staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including:
- Vacuuming all carpeted areas
- Sweeping and mopping all hard-surfaced flooring
- Dusting all surfaces, including office desks, counters, and windowsills
- Collect, empty, and properly dispose of trash and waste from building according to established guidelines.
- Cleaning of bathroom toilets, floors, counters, sinks, and mirrors.
- Monitoring and replenishing bathroom supplies as needed.
- Cleaning of building windows, both inside and outside.
- Cleaning of breakrooms and kitchen, including microwaves, counters, tables, chairs, and floor surfaces.
- Other tasks and projects to maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the facility as requested by the customer and/or Advanced, Inc. team. Report any security, safety, supply, or building maintenance issues to supervisor.
Qualifications
- 1-year previous maintenance, janitorial, or custodial experience.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Understanding of infection control practices and the importance of maintaining a sanitary environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work during both day and evening shifts as required.
