You’ll work with highly cerebral, down-to-earth colleagues on projects you won’t find anywhere else, and you’ll have the chance to travel across Europe as part of the role.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What you’ll actually be doing</strong></p><p><br></p><p>You’ll turn structured and unstructured data into models that drive real decisions across multiple European portfolios:</p><p><br></p><p>→ Building propensity-to-pay forecasts and other predictive and descriptive models</p><p>→ Owning the full model lifecycle: modelling, scoring and monitoring across a range of data sources</p><p>→ Getting stuck into new projects, including NLP</p><p>→ Working across European portfolios, from a large European bank to a smaller Italian FS client</p><p>→ Presenting insight to colleagues and showing them what the data is really saying</p><p><br></p><p><strong>You’ll bring</strong></p><p><br></p><p>✔ Experience in a Data Science role with a real focus on modelling and coding</p><p>✔ Strong Python and SQL</p><p>✔ Hands-on modelling techniques such as CHAID, cluster analysis, Bayesian algorithms, neural networks and MARS</p><p>✔ An open mind about where you’ve come from; this role is industry-agnostic</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Bonus points for</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Experience with visualisation tools.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The tech</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Data Lake, Azure, Databricks, Python, ML, SQL, SAS and Snowflake.
